Okay, that summer went far too quickly for me! Even with two weeks of vacation--one in July visiting local beaches and museums with my husband and kids and one in August spending time in Ohio and Michigan with extended family--I feel like I never really left.  


This is going to be a very quick newsletter with things you need to know before the beginning of the program year on Sunday, September 7th.


RE Starts September 21st

Services on September 7th and 14th will be Multigenerational Spirited Services.  

  • Sept 7th will be our annual blessing of backpacks and work bags--everyone bring your school or work bags and tools.

  • September 14th will be our annual water communion service--each family should bring a small container of water from a place that is important to you.

  • September 21st will be a Sunday Funday style one-room classroom lesson where we will welcome each other back to our learning community and create a mural to decorate the front stairwell down to the RE space.

  • September 28th will be our first EPIC classroom for the program year.  


All ages of students pre-K to high school are invited to attend Sunday Funday and EPIC sessions.

We will be having FOUR Family Nights this program year.  Please pencil the following dates in your calendar and know that more information will be coming soon.

  • March 15th 2026

  • June 7th 2026


Teaching/Childcare Assistants Wanted

We are blessed to have a growing number of children attending church and RE, which means that we are in need of MORE teachers and childcare assistants.  Our primary three teachers (Bette, Alison, and myself) have been holding down the fort since we came back from the COVID shut-down--we need more people to step up.  We welcomed Jason to our teaching team in the past program year and now we’d like to welcome YOU.
